Created in 2015 by Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI), Japan Health Policy NOW (JHPN) is the only centralized platform in the world on Japanese health policy available in both Japanese and English.  This is due in part to cooperation with Global Health Innovation Policy Program (GHIPP) at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) . All of HGPI’s projects, including JHPN, are supported by our Supporting Members, Corporate Members, and general donors. Our work is only possible thanks to our generous sponsors and supporters.

Japan is one of the most rapidly ageing societies in the world. As such, Japan’s health policies are drawing worldwide attention. JHPN was established by the Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) in September 2015. HGPI currently operates the website with the purpose of broadcasting information about Japan’s health policies.

JHPN delivers the latest information on the following topics:

  • Basic and background information on Japan’s health policies
  • Explanations of Japan’s periodic health policy agenda
  • Literature relating to Japan’s health policies (papers, books, reports, etc.)

Further details are can be found on the JHPN’s website: www.Japanhpn.org
